The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is the premier trade event for the video game industry. Each year E3 is produced and hosted by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). The event has become the venue of choice for many video game developers, publishers, and hardware and accessory manufacturers to debut and present their upcoming games and merchandise for the following year.
Since it's first event in 1995, E3 has been regarded as the biggest event in the video game industry. The event is held each year at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) in Los Angeles. This years show is scheduled for June 11–13, 2019.
Until 2015 the event was soley for industry professionals and the media. In 2015 the ESA started offering a limited number of E3 tickets for sale to the public. Passes can be purchased online through the E3 Attendee Registration.
No one under the age of 17 may purchase a pass to E3 and no one under the age of 17 (including infants) will be admitted. THIS POLICY IS STRICTLY ENFORCED. All E3 attendees are required to show government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license or passport) upon request to verify age.
